News From the Ladies of PPCC - 10/2/23
Just a quick note to thank all the members and the guests, from out of town, that participated in the Turkey Trot Invitational Tournament. The day started out a a little foggy and wet with the morning dew on the grass, but ended up with beautiful sunshine and warmer temperatures.
Thank you everyone for all the delicious morning treats, coffee cakes, and breads. The dessert table did not disappoint either.
The turkey dinner from Redfield's was delicious and was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you to all the Redfield's Staff.
The Winner of the 2023 Turkey Trot was team Jakubowski, Brileya, Kolodzej, and Lanpher with a score of 103.5.
2nd Place went to team Menduni, Fappiano, Wade, and Cruickshank from Green Mountain with a score of 105.9.
3rd Place with a score of 106.1 went to our own PPCC team of Elms, Senecal, Notte, and guest, Kris Carter.
The other team scores are posted on the bulletin board outside of the ProShop.
Closest to the Pin prizes went to: Hole #7 Trish Wade 13'8"
Hole #11 Heidi Lanpher 15'3"
Hole # 17 Mary Beth Menduni 3'6"
A $250 one time donation was made to the New Story Center to assist with their support of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
